Description :
Some call the Korea the Forgotten war. It was a war fought mostly with infantry, the terrain is very hilly and rugged. But tanks did serve there often with distinction, sometimes just as atrillery pieces or pillboxes. This book has 125 very good black & white photos of all of the tanks that were used in Korea with excellent captions. There is no narrative, but the reader sees Shermans, Pershings, T-34's, Centurion, recovery vehicles in all seasons and in all terrain. You can see the hardships faced just in the conditions of the battlefield. There was very little of the mobile style of warfare as in WW2 or the desert wars.
